Summary
Diego Brando, generally shortened to "Dio," is a celebrated professional jockey out of England and one of the riders in the Steel Ball Run. He has no direct connection to his DIO counterpart, Parts 1 through 6 and Parts 7 through 9 taking place in two separate universes, yet the resemblance in looks and in temperament is striking.
