Summary
Gohan is shy, studious and bookish, and as a child had none of the Saiyan appetite for a fight. Being forced to protect the people he loves, however, draws out the enormous potential of his half-Saiyan blood along with deep reserves of feeling, and makes him one of the strongest Z Fighters there are. As an adult he sets the hero's work aside and lives by his mind instead, becoming the Dragon World's foremost scholar. His power was extraordinary, at times exceeding even Goku's and Vegeta's.
