Summary
Vegeta comes from Akira Toriyama's manga series Dragon Ball. Setting aside Goku, Gohan and Piccolo, he is about as central as the series gets, and received more development after his introduction than a good many others did. The destruction of his home world and Freeza's treatment of his people left him haughty and arrogant, with a great deal of hatred and bitterness in him. His royal blood seems to have inflated his sense of his own standing further, and he holds himself above most of the people he meets. In Cross Epoch, the one-shot crossing Dragon Ball with One Piece, Vegeta captains an airship, wears an eye patch, and sports a cape clasped with the kanji for "vegetable." Trunks, Usopp and Nico Robin serve as his crew.
